Today I went to ARRI Media and unlike my recent trip to Pinewood Studios which can be read here, I actually took pictures inside the building! It was a pretty interesting and informative trip. We had a chance to have a go with the ARRI Alexa and we played around with the high frame rate setting which mainly consisted of jumping around in slow motion. Bond 24 here we come! Anyway here are the cameras we used below.

The main thing I learnt was that RED cameras are stupid and that shooting in 4k or above is pointless as you have to be about 3 feet away from the cinema screen to be able to see the difference in quality. Well done Peter Jackson.
